I can't see a menu item or a button

Menu items and buttons are hidden when your role can't use them, the app is off, or the menu was rearranged.

DukeOS only shows what you can use. If a page or button is missing, one of these is usually why:

  1. Your role doesn't include it. The menu and buttons follow your role. For example, people who can view memberships but not sell them won't see Sell a membership. Ask an owner to check your role.
  2. The app is switched off. An owner can switch apps on in Settings, with each app's switch, if your plan includes them.
  3. The menu was rearranged. Owners can rename, move and hide menu items for everyone, so the page may be under another name or group, or hidden. See Menu editor.
  4. A custom page is shared with certain roles only. Each custom page chooses who can see it and who can add and edit.
  5. You're in a demo. Demos block risky settings (security, billing, roles, the WhatsApp connection and others) even for the Owner.
  6. It moved. The menu uses the same groups in every business (Customers & Sales, Messages & Marketing, Money, Daily work and so on), Home is now the Dashboard, and apps are switched on and off in Settings itself (there's no separate App store page). Team's pages (Team, Shifts, Timesheets, Leave and My day) show only to the people who use them: for example, Shifts appears once you have a shift.
