Cancel any time. Fair refunds.

The short version

• Building your app is free: you only pay when you choose a plan and publish. Agencies' clients still being set up are free for 30 days.
• We never charge you automatically. You pay each invoice yourself, so nothing is charged after you stop.
• Stop any time by not paying the next invoice. You keep full access until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Monthly plans: no refunds for part of a month.
• Yearly plans: cancel within 14 days of paying and get a refund for the unused months.
• Charged twice or by mistake? We refund it in full.

Cancelling

There are no card mandates or autopay: each period's invoice is paid by you, through PayU in India or PayPal elsewhere. To cancel, simply don't pay the next invoice. Your business keeps working as normal until the end of the period you've already paid for; after the 7-day grace period it becomes read-only, so you can still see and export your data, and you can pay later to pick up where you left off.

If you also want your business and its data removed, ask us at support@dukeos.app, from the owner's email address, to close it. It is blocked straight away and can be reopened for a while; 90 days after closing, everything is deleted for good. Export your data first if you want to keep it.

Refunds

Monthly plans

Monthly plans are paid a month at a time and are not refunded for part of a month, including when you stop mid-month. You keep access until the month ends.

Yearly plans

If you cancel a yearly plan within 14 days of paying, we refund the months you haven't started, after taking off the months used at the monthly price and the value of guided setup if we've already done it. After 14 days, yearly plans are not refunded, and you keep access until the year ends.

DukeOS Source Licence

Because the code can't be returned, the source licence is not refunded once you have access to it. Try the sandbox and the code walkthrough before you buy.

Mistakes

If you paid the same invoice twice or were charged the wrong amount, tell us within 30 days and we refund the extra in full.

Changing plans

To change plan, choose a different plan when you pay your next invoice; it starts from that period. There are no part-period charges or credits when you change.

Things we can't refund

• AI credits that were used, and fees charged by others, such as Meta's WhatsApp fees or your own payment provider's fees.
• Guided setup once the work has been done.
• The student offer once its 3 months have started, except for a charge made by mistake.
• Accounts closed by us for a serious breach of our Terms of Service.

If something went wrong on our side, for example the service was down for a long time or a feature you paid for didn't work, write to us. We'll look at it fairly and may offer a credit or refund even where this policy doesn't require one.

How to ask for a refund

Email support@dukeos.app from the owner's email address with your business's address (for example yourbusiness.dukeos.app), the invoice number and the reason. We reply within 3 working days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through PayU or PayPal, usually within 5 to 10 working days of approval, depending on your bank. In India, refunds include the GST charged, and we issue a credit note.

Your customers' payments

If your business takes payments from its own customers through SmartDuke, using your own Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay or PayU account, those payments go straight to you. Refunds to your customers are between you and them, under your own policy, and are made through your payment provider.
