Imports are done by a person: Duke doesn't import files. Once your records are in, it reads them like any others, with the permissions of the person asking.

“Check” runs the first 20 rows exactly as the import would, and shows what each becomes and which rows have problems. Nothing is saved until you import.

In the background
Keep working while it runs.
Imports run in the background with a progress bar. A bad row doesn't stop the rest, the first 500 problems are listed, and running the same file again is safe. Imports never start your automations.
