What are good final year project ideas with AI?
Pick a real kind of business and build the system it would run on. Each idea below is a working app you can build with Duke in DukeOS, with customers, bookings or orders, invoices, WhatsApp flows and an AI agent you can demonstrate.
Is it suitable for MBA, BBA, BCA, MCA or engineering projects?
Yes. Management students can model a business: pipelines, pricing, retention and reports, with Duke answering questions about the numbers. Computer science and IT students can show an AI system working end to end: an assistant that reads data, tools it may call, approvals and an audit trail. Your group of up to 3 people can work in the same app.
How do I build it?
Sign up, describe your business to Duke, and it builds a draft: apps switched on, stages, custom pages, fields, roles and message templates. Then refine it by asking, for example "add a Rooms page with type, rent and status". Add sample customers, set up an AI agent, and rehearse the demo. Read more about building a business app with AI.
What does the student offer include?
Growth features for 3 months: every business app, Duke the assistant, Duke on duty, goals and AI agents, 300 AI credits (or your own OpenAI or Anthropic key) and up to 3 team members. It is a safe sandbox: messages to customers are recorded but never sent, so you can demo WhatsApp and email flows freely. No own domain, online payments or branches.

Common questions
Who can get the student offer?
Students at a college or school building a project. Our team checks each request using a college email or student ID before you pay.
Will real customers get messages from my project?
No. On the student offer, messages to customers are recorded as sent but never leave the server. Emails to you and your teammates, such as sign-in codes and invitations, still arrive.
What happens after 3 months?
The app turns read-only. You can still sign in, present it and export all your data, or move to a paid plan to keep building and switch customer messages on.
Can my whole project group use it?
Yes, up to 3 team members, each with their own sign-in and role.
