01In short

The answer, first.

Salon software India

DukeOS is salon software for Indian salons and spas. It books appointments from each stylist's working hours, keeps your services, products, client history and invoices with GST as a tax line in one place, and runs WhatsApp on your own number. Duke, the AI assistant, finds regulars who haven't rebooked. Plans start at $49 a month plus GST.

02In detail

What owners ask us.

Each question with a short answer, then the detail.

Can clients book with a particular stylist?

Yes. Each stylist has their own working hours, and appointments book into their real free times, so a cut with Priya never lands on her day off. The front desk sees every chair for the day. Your service menu holds each service's price and tax, and the client's visit history sits on their record, so whoever is on the desk knows what they had last time.

How do I cut down on no-shows?

Ask Duke for tomorrow's appointments and it drafts a WhatsApp reminder for each client from your approved template, ready for your yes. Clients can reply on WhatsApp, and you can answer in your own words within 24 hours of their message. On Growth and Pro, Duke on duty can answer those replies itself and book a new time from free slots when you switch booking on.

How do I get regular clients to rebook?

DukeOS keeps every visit, so it knows who used to come every five or six weeks and has gone quiet. Ask Duke who hasn't been in for two months and it lists them with their last service and stylist, then drafts a personal note from your template for each. You approve before anything is sent. An AI agent can run the same check every week on a schedule.

Does it handle retail products and GST on invoices?

Yes. Keep shampoos, serums and other retail products with stock per branch; stock never goes below zero and low stock is flagged. Services and products carry a tax rate, so GST is added to invoices as a tax line. Connect your salon's own payment account and invoices get a pay link for UPI or card. Packages paid in instalments are part payments on one invoice.

04Questions

Common questions

Can DukeOS run a salon with two or more branches?

Yes. Each branch has its own hours, stylists' schedules and retail stock, and you can give a manager or receptionist a role for one branch only. Clients belong to the whole salon, so their history follows them between branches. Starter covers one location, Growth up to two branches and Pro unlimited branches, all from one account.

Does it work with WhatsApp?

Yes. DukeOS uses Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform on your salon's own number. Approved templates start a conversation, such as a reminder or a we-miss-you note, and you can reply freely within 24 hours of the client's last message. Every message sits on the client's timeline. Meta charges separately for template conversations.

Can Duke reply to clients on WhatsApp when the salon is busy?

On Growth and Pro, yes. Duke on duty answers clients under rules you switch on: answer questions about services and timings, save their details, book a free slot, reply or hand over to the desk. On Starter, Duke drafts replies for you to approve. Refunds, cancellations of paid bookings and bulk messages always need a person.

Can I keep notes on a client's colour formula or skin type?

Yes. Build a custom page, such as Consultations or Client profiles, with the fields you need: colour formula, patch test date, skin type, allergies. Records link to the client, so the stylist sees them before the appointment. You can ask Duke to build the page for you in plain words. No code is needed.
