01In short
The answer, first.
Coaching institute software
DukeOS is coaching institute software for tuition centres and coaching institutes in India. It runs batches as classes with places, keeps courses and students in custom pages, marks attendance, collects fees in instalments as part payments on invoices, and messages parents on WhatsApp. Duke, the AI assistant, finds pending fees and absences. From $49 a month plus GST.
02In detail
What owners ask us.
Each question with a short answer, then the detail.
How do I manage batches and courses?
Each batch is a class on the timetable, with a tutor, a time, a number of places and a waiting list when it fills. Courses go in a custom page with the fields you use, such as subject, board, duration and fee. Students link to their course, so you can see who is in the JEE weekend batch or the Class 10 maths evening batch in a click.
Can fees be collected in instalments?
Yes. Raise one invoice for the course fee and record each instalment as a part payment, with a receipt every time. The fee balance is always visible, and overdue instalments appear in one list. Connect your institute's own payment account and the invoice gets a pay link, so parents can pay by UPI or card. GST is added as a tax line where it applies.
Can I mark attendance and tell parents about absences?
Yes. Mark students present as they arrive, at the desk or by QR code at the door, and every visit is kept. Ask Duke who has missed three classes this month and it lists them with their batch, then drafts a WhatsApp to each parent from your approved template. Nothing goes out until you approve it. You can also ask which students haven't attended at all in the last two weeks.
How do parents stay informed?
Keep the parent's name and number on the student's record. Fee reminders, absence notes and test results can go to parents on WhatsApp from your own number, using templates Meta has approved. When a parent replies, you can answer freely for 24 hours, and every message stays on the student's timeline. On Growth and Pro, Duke on duty can answer common parent questions itself.

04Questions
Common questions
Is there a limit on the number of students?
No. DukeOS plans are priced by team members, not students. Starter covers up to 3 team members, Growth up to 10 and Pro up to 25, so a growing institute pays for its staff, not each new admission. Students, parents, batches and invoices are not counted against your plan.
Can students see their batches and book classes?
Yes. Students open your institute's address on their phone and sign in with a code sent to their email. They see their classes and visits and can book open classes, such as doubt-clearing sessions. The app installs on the phone and carries your institute's name and logo.
Can I record test marks and progress reports?
Yes. Build a custom page such as Test results or Progress reports with the fields you want: test name, subject, marks, remarks. Each record links to the student. Ask Duke to make the page and it sets it up in plain words, then it can answer questions like which students scored under 50% in last week's test.
Does it work for an institute with several centres?
Yes. Each branch keeps its own timetable, hours and staff roles, and a centre manager can be given access to one branch only. Students and their fees belong to the whole institute. Starter covers one centre, Growth up to two branches and Pro unlimited branches, all managed from one account.
